| A mysterious stranger (Michael Biehn) murders a postman in cold blood in the middle of Canada’s desolate Great White North and tries to frame a local trapper, Jan Thoreau (Gabriel Arcand). Unaware the police are looking for him, Jan Thoreau leaves his beautiful wife (Alexandra Vandernoot) alone to begin a long trek across frozen wilderness. During his trip he receives a mysterious prophecy from a psychic Cree Indian that his wife is in imminent danger. When the unsuspecting Marie takes the stranger into her home, he becomes obsessed with her and holds her captive.
