Apartment 12 is a romantic comedy about Alex (Mark Ruffalo) a self adsorbed young artist who is having a bad day. When he doesn t get the art show he s been expecting his girlfriend kicks him out and Alex finds himself living in a low rent Hollywood apartment surrounded by an assortment of neighbours he d rather avoid. Rejected and dejected his life takes a turn when Laurie (Beth Ulrich) a country bumpkin from Colorado moves in next door. It soon becomes clear to Alex as convenient as it is to date someone from across the hall its a little inconvenient to have her still living there when you try to break up.
