Day-Lewis plays Fergus O?Connell, a good hearted dentist who travels by motorbike through Patagonia and rural Argentina to give free dental services paid for with sponsorship from the ?Eversmile? foundation committed to spreading ?dental consciousness? among the less fortunate. While his motorbike is being repaired, O?Connell falls in love with Estela (Mirjana Jokovic), the garage owner?s daughter. Though he is married and she engaged their romance flourishes on the road, but is tested when O?Connell has to reconcile love with his commitment to help the rural poor.
