Honeymoon in Vegas – Nicolas Cage (National Treasure) is Jack Singer, a second rate private eye who has managed to win the undying love of gorgeous school teacher, Betsy Nolan (Sarah Jessica Parker – Sex in the City). Now after five years, Betsy wants a commitment, but Jack is plagued by his mother’s death-bed wish that he never marry. In an irrational moment, Jack relents and proposes a quick-fix Vegas ceremony in the middle of an Elvis Impersonators convention in the town. However Jack wants to play his last hand before giving his, and gets suckered into a poker game with card shark Tommy Korma (James Caan – Elf) and loses Betsy to him! Waking up in Reno – For Lonnie Earl (Billy Bob Thornton – Bad Santa) and Darlene Dodd (Natasha Richardson – The White Countess) marriage is like a ‘a stale loaf of bread’, hard and inedible. While Darlene longs for a bit of romance, Lonnie Earl just wants some horizontal action, even if it is with Darlene’s best friend Candy (Charlize Theron – 2005 Best Actress Academy Award Nominee for “North Country”. Problem is, Candy is married to Roy (Patrick Swayze “Keeping Mum”), and they are desperately trying to make a baby. All this and they haven’t even left for their SUV road trip to Reno, the “Biggest Little Town in the World”, for a monster truck rally.
