Bob Hope plays a baby photographer who happens to have his studio next to the office of a private detective. When Dorothy Lamour is looking to hire someone to find her missing uncle she mistakenly hires Hope. Lon Chaney Jr and Peter Lorre play the bad guys and they are great straight men for Hopes antics. Mayhem ensues when Hope is falsely accused of murder and sentenced to the electric chair.
