Sam Rockwell (Moon, Frost / Nixon, Choke) plays Bill, a former NBA Basketball player; but thanks to the bottle getting the better of him he is now washing dishes and estranged from his wife and daughter – his life is in ruins! His childhood friend and now high school principal offers him a second shot in life – coaching the high school girls basketball team. The relationship between Bill and the six girls – one with a broken foot – is fraught with tension, until the unlikely school bus driver is recruited to assistant coach and success for the team beckons.
