The Great War, 1917. A handful of brave young Americans volunteered to fight alongside their French counterparts against the might of Germany. They were ordinary boys with one thing in common they wanted to learn how to fly. These young men formed the fighter squadron known as the Lafayette Escadrille. The Escadrille pilots became legendary. Flyboys is inspired by their story.
