| Not Quiet an Angel is a heart-warming story of how the Witherby family learns a lesson in love from the Angel – Melanie. Ever since the death of their mother, the Witherby family has been having problems. Justin Witherby, an incredibly bright twelve year old, has been using his brain to build inventions that have brought him nothing but trouble. Mr. Witherby is so busy with his job as a City Attorney and providing for his family, that he is unable to spend any time with his kids, and Jessica, Justin’s eleven year old sister keeps getting into fights with other children at school. Things have gotten so bad, that every night Jessica prays for some ‘divine’ help. One day Jessica’s prayers are answered in the form of Melanie, an angel sent down from heaven disguised as a maid. Just in time too, because Mr. Witherby, thinking he is going to help his family and the town they live in, has become tangled up in a project to develop the local park. It seems Mr. Hampton, a big shot real estate developer, wants to rip down half the park where all the children play and build houses on it. Although Hampton pledges to invest a hundred thousand dollars in the new playground equipment for the remaining areas of the park, the Witherby kids just don’t trust him. Their suspicions prove on the money! Justin discovers Hampton’s real plan. Hampton and his Laurel and Hardy like henchmen have found OIL beneath the park. They never planned to convert the park into houses and a new playground, No way buddy!
