Product Details:

Collection of three family films. In ‘The Adventures of Tintin – The Secret of the Unicorn’ (2011), intrepid young reporter Tintin (voice of Jamie Bell) joins forces with Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis) to find the treasure of his ancestor, Sir Francis Haddoque. A clue hidden inside a model ship bought on a market stall seems to point the way to the treasure. With the assistance of accident-prone Detectives Thompson and Thomson (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost), Tintin and Haddock set out to solve the mystery. Needless to say, though, they are not the only ones after the loot. ‘The Spiderwick Chronicles’ (2008) follows twin brothers Jared and Simon (Freddie Highmore) as they move with their sister (Sarah Bolger) and mother (Mary-Louise Parker) into their great-great uncle Arthur Spiderwick’s (David Strathairn) run-down old house. Unable to explain the unusual disturbances that seem to be occurring on a daily basis, the family blames Jared. Determined to prove his innocence, Jared enlists the help of his siblings in investigating what’s truly responsible for the strange goings-on. Pretty soon, they uncover the truth of the Spiderwick estate and the magical creatures that inhabit it. Finally, in ‘Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events’ (2004), after their parents are killed in a fire, the Baudelaire siblings, Violet (Emily Browning), Klaus (Liam Aiken) and the infant Sunny (Kara and Shelby Hoffman), are taken in by a succession of relatives and guardians, including kindly snake expert Uncle Monty (Billy Connolly) and their nervous Aunt Josephine (Meryl Streep). The worst of the lot though is the evil Count Olaf (Jim Carrey), obsessed with getting his hands on the Baudelaire’s inheritance. Imagining himself a master of disguise, Count Olaf undertakes a series of dastardly crimes to separate the Baudelaire children from their kindly guardians, and hopefully from their lives.
