Each fall for over 30 years an eclectic assortment of individuals and vehicles arrive in Ensenada, Mexico for the Baja 1000 – the longest point-to-point race in the world. Hundreds of entrants of all abilities race in 6 different divisions. They race everything from dune buggies to 800 horsepower trophy trucks to motorcycles. The goal of each racer can be as different as his horsepower but each face the same rugged, impossible terrain. It is a breathless, raw, beautiful and harrowing experience for even the most tenured.
Dana Brown (director of Step into Liquid) plunges into the world of the Baja 1000 with Dust to Glory – a feature film that documents the most notorious, most dangerous race in the world and brings us into the heart of the race and minds of the racers.
