Everything seems to be going Mackenzie Greer’s way. She starts law school in the fall, she has a close circle of girlfriends and the bridal shower she’s co-hosting for her best friend, Heather is a great success. That is, until at the shower, Nadira, a psychic begins giving readings. She doesn’t say anything about Mackenzie’s future. Instead, she gives her a business card and tells her she’ll need it. As Mackenzie drives home after the shower, out of nowhere a woman steps in front of her car. Mackenzie slams on the brakes but is unable to stop in time! To her horror, the impact kills the woman and Mackenzie runs for help. But by the time she returns and the police have arrived, there is no body, no blood and no trace of any accident. While Mackenzie insists that she hit someone, the police believe she’s a nuisance and her friends think she’s just tired and overworked. One stormy night she has locked up the office only to find a janitor still inside. The man attacks her and she manages to call security. The janitor keeps attacking and she stabs him with a pair of scissors. When the security officer arrives, he finds her terrified, holding the scissors. There is no body or blood in sight. The police arrive and believe they have a certified lunatic on their hands. But they have no explanation for the bruises on her body. She decides to do some detecting of her own and after combing through newspaper archives, she discovers that each of the murders she ‘committed’ actually happened and they remain unsolved. But everything changes when her latest vision shows not the past, but the future. This time the victim is her best friend. Heather. She visits Nadira who warns her that by attempting to change the future she will put herself in grave danger. Mackenzie has a choice: saver herself or saver her friend. Her decision ultimately reveals who is behind the terrifying visions, but at what cost?
