When cattle start dying, Gene suspects that local bad guys are sabotaging the government, spraying with a toxic poison during the night. Gene must now prove that his hunch is right. Springtime in the Rockies (B&W) – A recent East Coast college grad buys sheep to graze on her inherited ranch. Gene, the ranch manager, exploits her naivete, hoping she’ll head back east. But he ends up falling in love with her and now must win her back. Rootin’ Tootin’ Rhythm (B&W) – Gene and sidekick Frog take on a ring of cattle rustlers by disguising themselves in order to infiltrate the gang. Of course, this only causes more trouble when there’s a warrant out for their arrest. Man from Music Mountain (B&W) – A pair of swindlers takes advantage of hapless folks and sails them worthless lots in a ghost town that will never get electricity. Gene immediately senses trouble and works hard to bring the crooks to justice. |
