The Ranger also breaks up a plot by the Cavendish Gang, who is responsible for a string of local murders, to take over the town. Taylor, and Doc Drummond from Butch Cavendish, the Ranger learns his arch enemy has been killing off important men in the town of Colby and replacing them with members of his gang. Using the Doc as a decoy, The Lone Ranger, Tonto and the Sheriff round up the Cavendish gang one by one. Finally, the Ranger chases after Cavendish himself, and has one final showdown with his brother?s killer. And true to his vow, he doesn?t kill the outlaw, but just shoots the gun from his hand and takes him to jail.
