Doc Martin is the prequel to the award-winning movie Saving Grace. When successful but unhappy obstetrician Dr Martin Bamford (Martin Clunes) discovers his wife has been sleeping with three of his friends, his world is ripped apart. The Doc flees London and heads for a small fishing village on the north coast of Cornwall. His arrival coincides with a spate of attacks by a phantom jelly maker to cause chaos and animosity in this close knit village.
