But one day, at a Thai restaurant, an old Thai woman sees Andrew and Heather and senses something bad is affecting the happy-looking couple. The old woman tells Andrew that she senses a tragic incident occurred when they were traveling in Bangkok. This leads Heather to question Andrew about these newfound details of his Thailand trip. He reluctantly reveals the truth about Sita, the dead girl found in the canal. She had been their tour guide and they had spiked her drink as a prank, a prank that ended tragically in her death. A few days later, Heather visits Craig in hospital and tries to kill him with a sacrificial knife, luckily Andrew was able to prevent the killing but Heather has been possessed by a demon spirit. A shaman is called to rid the couple of their demons. Andrew confesses to the shocking truth that David and Craig had tricked Sita and raped her while he stood by helplessly. Sita is shamed by the incident and kills herself. The shaman concludes that Sita’s family have put a curse on the three young men and the girl’s spirit must now be appeased in order to break the curse for the three men to survive.
